American Equipment is a comprehensive solutions provider for everything related to customers’ overhead crane and hoist needs, including new and replacement equipment, system modernizations, parts, preventative maintenance and repair services and training. American Equipment was founded in 1969 and serves thousands of customers across a variety of end markets, including light & heavy industrial, automation, mining, public utilities, government, aerospace & defense, and energy. We are looking for an Install Technician in our Pittsburgh, CA location.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and no DUIs
- Must pass drug-screen and background check
- Proof of right to lawfully work in the United States required.
Nice To Haves
- Aptitude for either electrical or mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work overtime is required
- Strong communication skills
- Proven commitment to safety
- Comfort with working at heights
- Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance or equivalent military experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in installation of equipment / cranes
- Accurately and neatly document on the service report for the work performed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Travel will be required, including occasional overnight travel.
