About The Position

American Equipment was founded in 1969 and serves thousands of customers across a variety of end markets, including light & heavy industrial, automation, mining, public utilities, government, aerospace & defense, and energy. We are looking for an Install Technician in our Denver, CO location.

Requirements

• Aptitude for either electrical or mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime is required
• Strong communication skills
• Proven commitment to safety
• Comfort with working at heights
• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving history and no DUIs
• Must pass drug-screen and background check
• Proof of right to lawfully work in the United States required.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance or equivalent military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of equipment / cranes
• Accurately and neatly document on the service report for the work performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Travel will be required, including overnight travel.
