About The Position
The Install and Service Technician installs, services, and programs security burglar alarms, fire alarms, surveillance video, and other products as required. The role may include repairing equipment and wiring systems, and ensuring that all work complies with company procedures and relevant building and fire codes. This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position of 40 or more hours per week, based at the Sacramento, California office. The position is classified as experienced and pays $28.00–$32.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot low-voltage panels, wiring, and associated devices.
- Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized, and maintain necessary truck stock and inventory.
- Adjust units based on room structures and manufacturer recommendations.
- Use technical resources, information, materials, and support to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Install, service, and program burglar alarms, fire alarms, surveillance video, and other required products.
- Repair equipment and wire systems as needed.
- Ensure work complies with company procedures and relevant building and fire codes.
