About The Position
Seeking a motivated and self-directed candidate to join a growing team at Closets by Design Franchising. Candidate should have leadership skills and some woodworking experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, technical & operational training for new and existing Closets by Design Franchise locations in the area of manufacturing and installation of home improvement durable products. Will need to understand and be able to communicate the company philosophy around lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality standards. This position will also support sourcing, setup, and training on manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Candidates should have experience in product installation (which may include home improvement/building maintenance, appliance repair/installation, kitchen/bathroom installation as well as other closet/cabinet experience).
- Must be able to demonstrate superior customer service skills from prior work experience.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be able to multitask and be highly organized.
- Skillful management ability to manage and develop people.
- Good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership skills
- Some woodworking experience
Responsibilities
- Managing and leading Installers and Installer assistants (helpers).
- Manage and schedule each installation and service project from start to finish.
- Interact with customers, designers and the production department.
- The installation supervisor must place high emphasis on customer service and accounts receivable.
