About The Position

A1 Garage Door, founded in 2007 by CEO Tommy, aims to become America’s largest and most trusted garage door company, currently covering almost half the United States. The company is looking for high performers to join as an Installer Apprentice. This job is physically demanding, requiring stamina and enthusiasm. No prior experience with garage doors is needed, as the team provides comprehensive training on everything required, including customer experience, to ensure success in their market.

Basic knowledge of hand tools (Power drill, hammer, saw etc.)
Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc. as well as tablet and computer use
Reading skills
Basic math skills (measurements, payments)
Professional & approachable appearance
Current eligibility to legally work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Worked in similar industries, performing installation or assembly (Windows & doors, flooring, carpentry, kitchen installation, furniture/fixtures/bike assembly etc.)

Responsibilities

Install new garage doors for residential customers
Remove existing door and mechanical parts
Replace worn or broken door parts using tools
Assemble mechanical parts
Install springs, sections, slats, and hardware
Run wiring to connect equipment
Lubricate and test mechanical parts for proper functioning
Educate customers on upgraded parts and services and ensure satisfaction
Document activities related to installations
