Inst/Ast Professor Fixed Term
About The Position
The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University seeks an Instructor or Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate or graduate courses, either in person or online. Courses may cover different subject areas in accounting and information systems, with an emphasis on financial accounting and tax-related courses. The position is planned on a recurring basis. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field is required for the Instructor position; a Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field is required for the Assistant Professor position. Previous accounting teaching experience at a higher education institution is preferred. A CPA is preferred but not required. This position is designated remote-friendly, meaning some or all duties may be performed remotely as mutually agreed upon.

Nice To Haves
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
