About The Position

The Inspector enters customer order information into a computer system, inspects and racks customer products, and works independently in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working with customers to understand their product needs and translate them into workable specifications for teammates. The Inspector makes front-end and back-end processing decisions using training and experience, then inspects processed products for quality, repackages them, and ensures they are shipped accurately.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Comfort working with hands and ability to lift 44 pounds.
Strong work ethic, high energy, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Prior machine operator experience.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect customer products for processing.
Inspect finished products.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Learn new skills and cross-train in various departments.
Participate as a member of the monthly Quality Council.
Visually inspect tools for proper coating.
Learn defixturing techniques.
Post quantities being shipped into the computer system.
Pack customer parts for shipping.
Use XRF equipment to document coating thickness.
Use various shipping software.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
