About The Position

Howmet is seeking an entry-level Inspector to work in a production environment at its Barberton, Ohio facility. The role involves safely operating production equipment and inspecting manufactured wheels to meet quality and production targets. Training will be provided, and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. The position is described as full-time, with a first-shift schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and pay of $23.03 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures.
• Perform compliance checks and complete paperwork, documentation, and reports.
• Visually inspect wheels for defects or malformations.
• Ensure produced parts meet quality requirements, including dimensional requirements in accordance with the control plan and overall appearance.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Participate in TPM activities.
• Ensure 5S requirements are met.
• Assist in problem solving for identified departmental problems.
• Safely operate production equipment to meet quality and production targets.
