About The Position
Howmet is hiring an entry-level, full-time Inspector for its production environment in Barberton, Ohio. The role works the third shift, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at a stated rate of $23.03 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Training will be provided. The Inspector helps safely operate production equipment and meet quality and production targets by inspecting wheels and ensuring produced parts meet dimensional and appearance requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or two years of work experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.

- Data-entry or computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Perform compliance checks and complete related paperwork, documentation, and reports.
- Visually inspect wheels for defects or malformations.
- Ensure produced parts meet all dimensional requirements in the control plan and meet appearance standards.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Participate in TPM activities.
- Ensure 5S requirements are met.
- Assist with problem solving for identified departmental issues.
