About The Position

Smalley Steel Ring Company is hiring an Inspector for its manufacturing operation in Lake Zurich, Illinois. The role inspects products according to company and industry standards, supports inspection department targets, uses and calibrates measurement instruments, and completes job-packet paperwork in accordance with Smalley Good Documentation Practices. The Inspector may also provide material-handling support or perform other functions as needed. Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
Have experience working in a manufacturing or related environment.
Pass the required inspection and English tests.
Knowledge of measuring parts with precision instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
Knowledge of checking and performing calibration on inspection instruments.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector.
High school diploma or equivalent.
