The Inspector will perform product inspection and tests according to established procedures, using gauging, visual, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques. This role involves auditing procedures and documentation, assisting in providing recommendations for corrective actions, and using a color code system for material identification. The Inspector will also be responsible for achieving and maintaining NDT level II certification, interfacing with team members including engineering, quality, operators, and customer representatives, and performing material handling duties, which may include fork truck operation. Additionally, the role requires safely performing rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment, communicating effectively both written and orally, maintaining accurate written and computer records, reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications, using gauging equipment, performing calculations, and using computers. The Inspector will also perform other duties as assigned.
