About The Position

This individual is responsible for final and in-process inspection, packaging, and properly labeling all stock and custom products produced in the department. They will perform daily duties with minimal supervision and must meet performance standards for quantity, quality, and timeliness of output, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality at or above company standards. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret work orders, production engineering blueprints, specifications, quads, and drawing appendix information.
Ability to perform in-process and final inspection, packaging, and shipment of stock and custom label products.
Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot automatic turret rewind and packaging equipment.
Ability to accurately record data electronically or manually.
Ability to use various computer programs/systems for labels, transactions, emails, and data entry.
Ability to maintain work area through good housekeeping.
Ability to maintain department supplies.
Ability to perform daily duties with minimal supervision.
Ability to meet performance standards: Quantity, quality, and timeliness of output.
Ability to maintain attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Perform final and in-process inspection, packaging, and labeling of stock and custom products.
Read and interpret work orders, production engineering blueprints, specifications, quads, and drawing appendix information.
Setup, operate, and troubleshoot various automatic turret rewind and packaging equipment.
Accurately record data electronically or manually per specification.
Package and move orders expeditiously.
Deliver packaged and inspected product to finished goods.
Manage and stock packaging supplies.
Use computer programs/systems for label creation, transaction execution, email communication, and process data entry.
Maintain work area through good housekeeping habits.
Maintain department supplies to ensure an optimal level of service.
Meet performance standards for quantity, quality, and timeliness.
Maintain attendance and punctuality.
