About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the proper packaging and labeling of finished products to meet customer requirements. The job involves operating various equipment, moving materials, and reviewing orders for specific packaging instructions. A key aspect of this role is ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Pre-requisite programs.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.
• Ability to operate roll wrappers, stretch wrappers, bander, roll movers, fork/clamp truck and other related equipment.
• Ability to ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished product.
• Ability to move materials by hand, forklift, roll handler and shuttle.
• Ability to review orders for specific packaging instructions.
• Ability to ensure the wrapping area is cleaned.
• Ability to comply with Food Safety and Pre-requisite programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with fork/clamp truck operation.
• Familiarity with Food Safety and Pre-requisite programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll wrappers, stretch wrappers, bander, roll movers, fork/clamp truck and other related equipment.
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished product to meet customer requirements.
• Material movement by hand, forklift, roll handler and shuttle.
• Review orders for specific packaging instructions.
• Ensure the wrapping area is cleaned prior to wrapping rolls.
• Day to day compliance with Food Safety and Pre-requisite programs.
• Recycling racks.
• Other assignments or tasks as needed.
