About The Position

This role is responsible for performing various tasks related to inspecting and packing materials to ensure customer specifications and internal protocols are met. The individual will operate equipment, maintain a clean work environment, track materials, and complete necessary documentation. The position requires adherence to all health, safety, and housekeeping regulations. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and work orders.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure.
Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), email, and calendar capabilities.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and protect the privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Ability to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to type, hold, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to talk or hear.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate equipment including motorized forklift with various attachments, packaging/wrapping machinery, label equipment, banders, and gluers.
Receive and maintain equipment certification if applicable.
Accurately read and follow instructions.
Inspect material to ensure customer specifications have been met.
Package outgoing materials to meet customer specifications and internal protocols.
Move material within the facility according to protocol, which may include weighing, scanning, stacking, transporting, and arranging.
Keep work and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
Verify and track all material moved, including quantity, size, and packaging.
Complete all necessary documents for internal or external use.
Work with supervision and potentially in multiple areas or with multiple teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
