About The Position

This role involves operating various packaging equipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling of finished products according to customer requirements, and managing material movement. The position also requires reviewing orders for specific packaging instructions, maintaining cleanliness of the wrapping area, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Pre-requisite programs.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.
• Ability to operate roll wrappers, stretch wrappers, bander, roll movers, fork/clamp truck and other related equipment.
• Ability to ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished product to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to perform material movement by hand, forklift, roll handler and shuttle.
• Ability to review orders for specific packaging instructions.
• Ability to ensure the wrapping area is cleaned prior to wrapping rolls.
• Ability to ensure day to day compliance with Food Safety and Pre-requisite programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with recycling racks.
