Requirements

• Ability to operate jib cranes and overhead cranes in a safe and productive manner.
• Ability to read special instructions to meet customer specifications.
• Ability to inspect material as it is being loaded or unloaded at furnaces and when packing hard material.
• Ability to record information into the computer system when required.
• Ability to keep work area clean and orderly daily.
• Ability to work well with people in the area.

Responsibilities

• To be able to work in all areas of the packing department and operate all associated equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Material must be packed to customer specifications.
• Be able to operate jib cranes and overhead cranes in a safe and productive manner.
• Read special instructions as to meet customers’ requirements on specifications.
• Ensure to inspect material as it is being loaded or unload at furnaces and when packing hard material.
• Record information into the computer system when required
• Keep area that employee is working at clean and orderly daily.
• Work well with people in the area.
• May be required to perform other duties in different departments during the day if Production Supervisor requires it.
