About The Position

Intralox, L.L.C. is hiring an Inspector Packer for its Hammond Plastics facility in Hammond, Louisiana. The role works with Operator and Processor Technicians to manufacture plastic modular conveyor parts. The facility operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This position works a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with rotating weekends. Selected candidates must successfully complete drug, background, and physical screenings.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Stable work history; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts; the day shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously while performing tasks.
• Ability to perform all duties associated with the position, including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to adhere to all safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-management and the ability to work well without supervision.
• Team-oriented approach and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package molded products.
• Properly sort unacceptable product for further processing.
• Complete finishing operations on molded products.
• Accurately package and label completed products.
• Maintain accurate transactions of finished goods and scrap material.
• Inform the team leader immediately of non-conforming product.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the factory.
• Start and stop machines when instructed.
• Perform job tasks in the best interest of a high-performance team.
