Inspector Packer I - Temporary

About The Position
The Inspector Packer I inspects finished products and verifies package counts to ensure products meet quality standards. The role includes packing and stacking products, preparing boxes for shipment, performing scheduled quality checks, and operating machinery according to standard operating procedures. This is a long-term temporary seasonal position with no set end date. Available shifts are 7 a.m.–5 p.m. and 7 p.m.–5 a.m.; the overnight shift includes a $2 per hour differential.
Requirements
- Ability to meet safety and quality standards.
- Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate demonstrated processes and other workplace procedures.
- Minimum proficiency in English to support effective new-hire training and ongoing communication about safety and quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products and verify package counts.
- Tape boxes and manually transfer products to the stacking area.
- Assemble flat cardboard into boxes for shipping products.
- Perform quality checks at scheduled intervals.
- Start and stop machinery according to standard operating procedures.
