About The Position
The Inspector Packer I is a seasonal position lasting a few months in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role helps ensure finished products meet quality standards by inspecting products, checking package counts, performing scheduled quality checks, and preparing products and packaging for shipping. The position works the 2pm–10:30pm shift.
Requirements
- Ability to meet safety and quality standards.
- Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate demonstrated processes and workplace procedures.
- Minimum proficiency in English to support effective new-hire training and ongoing communication about safety and quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products and verify package counts.
- Tape boxes and manually transfer product to the stacking area.
- Assemble flat cardboard into boxes for shipping products.
- Perform quality checks at scheduled intervals.
- Start and stop machinery according to standard operating procedures.
