About The Position

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking an Inspector II to join their Construction Management Team. This role will be responsible for applying standard inspection procedures to ongoing activities in SHA District 6, during and after construction. The primary focus will be on structural quality, general safety, and conformance to plans, specifications, and codes. JMT is a dynamic, 100% employee-owned consulting firm with over 2,800 professionals, offering a full range of multidisciplinary services. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

Experience in applying standard inspection procedures.
Ability to review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods.
Ability to perform routine tests on concrete, soils and other materials.
Ability to measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement.
Ability to gather and maintain record documents.
Ability to make field notes and computations.

Responsibilities
