New hire will be exposed to different measuring tools and expected to learn how to use them to perform their daily job requirements. Examples are CMMS, Vision Machines and Optical Comparators. Requirements

  • High School / GED or Trade School education
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Knowledge and ability to inspect using GD&T
  • Knowledge and familiarity with inspection equipment (CMMs, height gages, optical CMMs and optical comparator)
  • Ability to review and verify documentation to drawing and purchase order specifications
  • Experience in mechanical inspection or related machining experience
  • Solid background / experience in mechanical inspection and drawing interpretation per ANSI.Y14.5
  • Active IPC 600, 610, 620 certification
  • Ability to inspect with hand tools ie. calipers and micrometers
  • Familiar with and able to inspect with a CMM, height gage, and optical CMMs.

  • PWB inspection experience
