Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter production and quality data.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to read and follow written procedures, work instructions, and production documentation.
Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform simple calculations and record data accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Up to one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or a related environment preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience using microscopes, magnification equipment, or visual inspection tools.
Familiarity with quality inspection processes and nonconforming material procedures.
Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of workplace organization and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials, components, and finished products in accordance with established inspection procedures.
Read and interpret job travelers and production documentation to identify inspection requirements.
Utilize microscopes and other inspection equipment to evaluate product quality and identify defects.
Identify acceptable and nonconforming product characteristics based on established quality standards.
Properly classify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials in accordance with company procedures.
Accurately record inspection results and enter required production and quality data into company systems.
Follow established inspection processes and quality procedures from beginning to end.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area consistent with workplace organization standards.
Properly handle, unload, package, and store finished products.
Collaborate with production personnel and leadership to support quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
