About The Position

ION Solar is a full-service residential solar company with offices in eight states and a workforce of over 700 employees. The Inspections Scheduler actively manages the inspection calendar in an assigned market, coordinating appointments among homeowners, city building departments, and ION Solar Inspection technicians. The role calls for attention to detail, strong customer service, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment. The position is based at ION Solar’s corporate location in Orem, Utah. It involves a fast-paced, open-floor office environment, significant computer and phone use, and work with complex systems. Speed and accuracy are important, and interruptions may occur throughout the day.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Strategic decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time well.
Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
Analytical skills.
Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency, especially with CRM software, and strong typing skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee projects in the assigned area and help them progress quickly through the inspection process.
Audit projects to confirm they are ready for inspection.
Schedule inspections with homeowners while coordinating with city officials and Field Technicians.
Follow up within one business day on completed inspections and explain the results to homeowners.
Communicate any required fixes to homeowners and create service tickets for needed changes.
Complete tasks needed to move projects along to the Utility and PTO teams.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
