About The Position

Assist in visually inspecting, labeling and packaging pharmaceutical products. This role involves performing visual inspections, labeling, assembling and packaging of liquids, suspensions, and lyophilized pharmaceutical and dermatological products in vials, ampoules etc. The technician will also be responsible for cleaning equipment and the facility, maintaining manufacturing records, stocking materials, and operating semi-automatic inspection machines, vial label applicators, and box imprinting machines. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to visually inspect small print/printed labels.
• Ability to visually inspect liquid and lyophilized pharmaceutical products for small particles.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions/procedures in English.
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
• Minimum 0-2 years related experience.
• Familiarity with, and the ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records, and adhere consistently to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Biotechnology certificate preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections, labeling, assembling and packaging of liquids, suspensions, and lyophilized pharmaceutical and dermatological products in vials, ampoules etc.
• Clean labeling and packaging assembly equipment and facility as needed.
• Comply with all policies and procedures related to personal safety and job area safety.
• Maintain manufacturing records and complete all required paperwork/documents to comply with Federal Regulations and FDA.
• Report variance or deviations from standard procedures to department management.
• Stock materials utilized by the department.
• Operate semi-automatic inspection machine, vial label applicator and box imprinting machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
