About The Position

The Insights Analyst will join Datassential’s Insights team, which serves as a team of product and data experts for clients. The team creates data-driven PowerPoint presentations that deliver insights and actionable business recommendations across the food and beverage industry, and provides clients with training on Datassential’s tools and reports. The analyst will master the company’s syndicated products and use that expertise to support client needs through requests such as reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Economics, or a similar field.
• 3–5 years of experience in market research or business insights, emphasizing client communication, data storytelling, and translating findings into business strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill diverse data sets into cohesive, succinct stories tailored to client needs, with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and consultative skills to convey information clearly and effectively to varied client audiences.
• Familiarity with G-Suite and intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Use syndicated products to export data and create clear, compelling, insight-driven stories that address specific customer pain points.
• Provide actionable insights to clients.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recommend project work beyond the requested scope when it would enhance the storytelling, and identify cues that may indicate upsell opportunities.
• Represent the voice of the customer and collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback that can improve the company’s solutions.
