The Insight Research Analyst Senior identifies and manages existing and emerging risks, ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled, and follows written risk and compliance policies. This role leads, facilitates, and collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors to support research projects, determining appropriate research methodologies, design innovation, marketing strategies, and general industry trends to solve business problems. The analyst applies advanced knowledge in conducting research using quantitative, qualitative, text, or business intelligence methodologies, including surveys, usability tests, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographical studies. Findings are formulated into business recommendations and presented to various levels of leadership. The role also involves mentoring peers and team members, navigating obstacles, and resolving escalated issues. Additionally, the analyst researches and identifies industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness and acquires, maintains, and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products, processes, and research methodologies to represent member sentiment across products, channels, and experiences. Partial telecommuting may be allowed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related field and 6 years of post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation, OR Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Quantitative and qualitative research methodologies: survey design and analysis, focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographic studies, usability testing, and customer experience research.
  • Statistical testing and modeling: Z-tests, T-tests, ANOVA, linear/logistic regression, correlation analysis using SAS Enterprise Guide, Python (pandas, stats models, and scikit-learn), and SPSS.
  • Database management and integration: Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, and Snowflake, supporting end-to-end analytical workflows including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Qualtrics XM for survey programming, distribution, and analytics.
  • Qualtrics XM’s Text iQ for unstructured text and sentiment analysis.
  • Tableau and Power BI for dashboard development, trend analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of research compliance and data governance, including risk management, regulatory standards, data privacy protocols, and ethical research practices.

  • Applies advanced level of knowledge in conducting research using the appropriate methodology (quantitative, qualitative, text or business intelligence).
  • Formulates findings into business recommendations and presents findings to various levels of leadership.
  • Mentors and provides guidance to peers and team members; navigates through obstacles to resolve escalated issues of an unusual nature.
  • Researches and identifies industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness.
  • Acquires, maintains, and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes, and advanced knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research methodologies to represent member sentiment across products, channels, and experiences.
