About The Position

Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking an Insider Threat Detection Analyst to support a federal customer in the National Capital Region. The role provides data analytics and technical support to improve insider threat detection and program effectiveness. The stated salary range is $90,000–$100,000. The position is exempt and will be posted until filled or withdrawn. The specialist analyzes insider threat data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, applying statistical analysis and data modeling. The role also develops data collection strategies and performance measures, and collaborates with Detection Analysts.

Requirements

At least 8 years of relevant experience, including some experience within the last 2 years, demonstrating independent execution, proficiency with applicable laws, policies, and standards, and the ability to produce professional written products and briefings.
At least 8 years of experience in insider threat analysis, counterintelligence, law enforcement, or computer network defense.
Proficiency with analytical tools, behavioral analysis, and multi-source intelligence integration.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required.

Responsibilities

Analyze insider threat data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Apply statistical analysis and data modeling.
Write SQL, Python, or R queries; clean and validate datasets.
Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, as well as compliance reports.
Develop data collection strategies and performance measures.
Collaborate with Detection Analysts.
Provide data analytics and technical support to improve insider threat detection and program effectiveness.
