About The Position

USM ReRents, a leading aerial equipment re-rental partner serving over 1,000 rental companies, is seeking to expand its Inside Sales team. This role is ideal for individuals with at least two years of inside sales experience, a background in the construction or equipment rental industry, and a desire to join a company recognized for its integrity, quality, and strong customer relationships. The position is based in an in-office culture in Elmhurst, IL, with minimal travel required.

Requirements

2+ years of inside sales experience, ideally with equipment.
Familiarity with aerial lifts, telehandlers, or general rental equipment.
A relentless prospecting discipline – daily outreach targets, consistent follow-up.
A curiosity that drives better conversations – asking thoughtful, open-ended questions.
Confident, clear communication skills — persuasive, and customer-focused.
Resilience – the ability to stay positive & motivated.

Responsibilities

Source and develop new rental business, and strengthen existing partnerships.
Build and grow relationships with national, regional, and local equipment-rental companies.
Drive monthly rental revenue by maximizing utilization of high-reach booms, telehandlers, and specialty equipment.
Educate customers on equipment applications and the USM rental process/partnership.
Maintain accurate sales activity in Pipedrive CRM.
Collaborate daily with Rental Coordinators, Fleet Service professionals, and the Sales team to deliver exceptional service.
