About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a motivated Inside Sales professional to join our Wholesale team. This role is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with our wholesale customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and product support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, assisting customers with product selection, generating quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or technical training preferred.
  • Prior experience in tire sales, automotive, or parts distribution strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers, providing exceptional service and product support.
  • Process incoming orders via phone, email, or in person accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate tires, parts, and related products based on needs and specifications.
  • Generate sales quotes, prepare invoices, and follow up on pending orders.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain knowledge of current product lines, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support outside sales representatives with quotes, product information, and account updates.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
