About The Position

Horizon Forest Products is seeking a highly self-motivated, ambitious inside sales professional to support the company’s continued growth. The role focuses on generating leads, meeting sales goals, building customer relationships, and coordinating sales and order fulfillment with internal teams. The company distributes the Impressions Flooring Collection and a broad range of flooring products and supplies.

Requirements

• Able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Work with the Outside Sales Team to implement and execute effective sales strategies that drive sales.
• Negotiate pricing with customers, prepare quotes, and submit orders.
• Collaborate with purchasing departments, Branch Leaders, and other team members to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently and products are distributed properly.
• Identify and locate new customers through methods including networking and cold calls.
• Use product knowledge to match products to customer needs.
• Gather information from customers about competing products.
• Provide leadership with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry developments.
