About The Position

The inside sales representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with prospective customers, existing partners and potential future partners. Working directly with the Customer, Sales Support, Strategic Account Manager and others, the successful candidate will have the ability to develop credibility, build trust and rapport with customers and partners, understand their needs, and facilitate a successful sales process. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a high-performance work environment with clear performance expectations and targets. Top performers will have strong communication and listening skills, a competitive spirit and be curious life-long learners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com, Zoho CRM or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers and partners, making outbound calls and emails to potential customers, and following up leads.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via email.
  • Engaging with prospective distribution and outside sales representative partners.
  • Creating and maintaining a CRM database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new partners.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
