About The Position

The Inside Sales Specialist serves as a strategic extension of the Industrial Sales team, combining proactive lead generation with cross‑functional execution. In this role, you will hunt for new opportunities, collaborate closely with Strategic Marketing to develop targeted outreach approaches, partner with Regional Sales Managers to advance qualified opportunities, and remain engaged through later‑stage activities such as internal coordination, order processing, and contract support. Success in this role requires curiosity, persistence, and the ability to operate effectively across both customer‑facing and internal environments. This position is part of the Aria Filtra Industrial Sales organization and is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement. Requirements

  • 2–5 years of inside sales or technical sales experience, with a strong emphasis on lead generation and qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage prospects through outbound phone, email, and digital outreach
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, bringing forward ideas and adapting approaches based on results
  • Experience navigating cross‑functional, process‑driven environments, including internal coordination and follow‑through

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a technical, business, or related field
  • Experience selling industrial solutions, water treatment technologies, or other technical products
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities
  • Exposure to complex sales cycles involving internal approvals, contracts, or order processing

Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunting for new industrial sales opportunities through outbound outreach and targeted prospecting
  • Identifying where to focus efforts by partnering with Strategic Marketing to develop market‑specific outreach strategies and messaging
  • Engaging technical and commercial stakeholders to uncover needs and qualify early‑stage opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with Regional Sales Managers to advance qualified opportunities and support deal progression
  • Serving as a connective partner between customers, outside sales, and internal teams throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Supporting post‑sale activities, including internal coordination, documentation, order processing, and contract‑related approvals
  • Documenting activities, pipeline progress, and insights within Salesforce and other internal systems
