About The Position

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for managing inbound leads, activating container sales opportunities, and driving customer re-engagement. This role focuses on converting opportunities into revenue by responding quickly, qualifying needs, and guiding customers through the sales process or connecting them to the appropriate Sales Representative when needed. This position owns high-volume customer interaction and plays a key role in maintaining pipeline activity, maximizing conversion rates, and capturing additional revenue from existing and expiring customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years in inside sales, customer engagement, or sales support roles
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Experience managing inbound leads and customer pipelines
  • Ability to manage high-volume activity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization and follow-up discipline
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads promptly and qualify opportunities
  • Engage customers via phone and email to understand needs and timelines maximizing lead conversion
  • Convert qualified leads into quotes, opportunities, or sales handoffs driving renewals, extensions, or new agreements
  • Identify opportunities to upsell, re-engage, or add-on to customer quotes.
  • Actively promote and sell container-based solutions to inbound and existing customers
  • Identify and recommend appropriate solutions quoting within established pricing guidelines to customers
  • Actively promote and close inbound and existing customer container deals and VAPS while routing more complex opportunities to sales team
  • Proactively contact customers approaching contract expiration
  • Transition complex negotiations or high-value opportunities to aligning sales representatives
  • Maintain active communication and follow-up across assigned leads and customers
  • Ensure all interactions, notes, and next steps are documented in Salesforce
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound and existing customer activity
  • Prioritize opportunities based on urgency and revenue potential
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to transition qualified or complex opportunities
  • Provide clear documentation and context during handoff
  • Maintain consistent daily activity levels (calls, emails, follow-ups)
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer engagement
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support reporting and pipeline visibility as needed
  • Build relationships with prospective customers with the primary focus on closing modular office and container deals and propose customized solutions for customer needs
  • Proactively manage relationships with customers, and independently drive account needs or problems through resolution
  • Assist in Managing purchase orders with strong understanding of contract language, and terms
  • Confirm accuracy of lease quotes prior to contracting/ correct as needed
  • Contract Lease Agreements and file lease agreement and Floor Plan in the contract.
  • Uncover ways to raise brand awareness for Wilmot Modular’s product portfolio and gain account intelligence for new/existing accounts
  • Effectively utilize Salesforce (CRM) application to document outreach efforts, account management plans, next steps/actions, and leads/opportunity notes
  • Provide clerical support to Sales Department, as needed
  • Additional duties as required
