About The Position
Inside Sales Specialist Charles Ross & Son Company in Hauppauge, New York , a 184 year old company and leader in industrial mixing and blending equipment, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. This role will primarily support our domestic sales efforts, build customer relationships and manage client accounts. This is not a remote position.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Proficiency with Email communications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player, with friendly demeanor, mechanically inclined, trustworthy and willing to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in machinery sales is preferred.
- Technical understanding of industrial process equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on inquiries and identify potential needs. These may be by phone, email and possibly in-person meetings.
- Check in on existing clients to ensure they are operating well and inquire about new opportunities.
- Document interactions and keep accounts well organized.
- Interact with Engineering and Production Departments.
- Support other team members when needed.
- Occasional travel once a level of specific product knowledge and training has been met.
