About The Position

The Toro Company is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support and coordinate the sales of assigned business unit related products to the sales channel or direct business partners. This role acts as the primary point of contact for the business unit sales channel and its representatives.

Requirements

B.S. Business or related field
One to two (1-2) years of experience in a similar role
Great communication skills (written & spoken)
Prior customer service experience
Technical experience with MS Office – advanced Excel & Power Point

Responsibilities

Obtaining annual forecasts and orders on a monthly basis
Responding to rental and dealer inquiries regarding order configuration, shipment coordination and tracking, equipment transfers, programming, pricing quotes, product availability, consignment inventory, cultivation of new orders, finance and floorplan, and new channel partner training.
Reviewing and communicating orders to business unit accounts, and following orders through the order and invoicing process.
Working with independent sales representatives as needed to ensure completion of direct sales.
Communicating monthly with the business unit sales channel to reinforce the importance and value of sales channel commitment and gain field marketing information.
Assisting territory managers in the sale of assigned business unit products and accessories.
Obtaining inventory and retail sales progress on a monthly basis.
Representing the business unit at external functions such as Dealer Training events and Trade Shows.
