About The Position

The Toro Company is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support and coordinate the sales of assigned business unit related products to their sales channel or direct business partners. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the business unit sales channel and its representatives.

Requirements

B.S. Business or related field
Zero to two (0-2) years of experience in a similar role
Great communication skills (written & spoken)
Prior customer service experience
Technical experience with MS Office – advanced Excel & Power Point
Bilingual - English and French Canadian

Responsibilities

Obtain annual forecasts and orders on a monthly basis.
Provide inside sales territory support, including responding to rental and dealer inquiries regarding order configuration, shipment coordination and tracking, equipment transfers, programming, pricing quotes, product availability, consignment inventory, cultivation of new orders, finance and floorplan, and new channel partner training.
Support business unit sales accounts by reviewing and communicating orders, following orders through the order and invoicing process, and working with independent sales representatives to ensure completion of direct sales.
Communicate monthly with the business unit sales channel to reinforce the importance and value of sales channel commitment and gain timely field marketing information.
Assist territory managers in the sale of assigned business unit products and accessories.
Obtain inventory and retail sales progress on a monthly basis.
Assist consumers with issues related to product, product availability, interchangeability, sales channel location, and channel partner concerns.
Proactively alert internal marketing, service, engineering, and manufacturing personnel regarding product concerns.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
