About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is seeking an Inside Sales/Service Manager to join their team. This role involves greeting customers, explaining services and promotions, creating and managing service tickets, coordinating repair schedules with technicians, and providing status updates. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly about costs and timelines, process payments, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean service area. This position requires upholding Southern Tire Mart's service standards in all customer interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Explain available services, promotions, and special offerings.
• Create and manage service tickets in the system.
• Coordinate repair schedules with technicians and provide status updates to customers.
• Communicate clearly about costs, timelines, and any additional work needed.
• Process customer payments and handle necessary paperwork upon service completion.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming front counter area.
