About The Position

Hajoca Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales & Service Manager for their Denver, CO location under the Dahl trade name. This role involves overseeing the performance, sales operations, and financial performance of the Inside Sales team. The manager will be responsible for managing, recruiting, hiring, and training inside sales personnel, setting clear performance expectations, and conducting regular performance evaluations. They will also work with the Profit Center Manager (PCM) to establish revenue and margin targets, set individual sales goals, and hold salespeople accountable. The position requires analyzing financial reports to implement strategies for increasing sales, improving operating efficiencies, managing assets, and boosting return on investment and profit sharing. A key aspect of the role is effectively managing customer contacts and relationships to ensure excellent customer service, build sales volume, and increase customer satisfaction. The manager will also be involved in attracting and retaining customers, building community relationships through local marketing, hosting events, and attending industry functions. Additionally, the role includes conducting business in accordance with company policy, maintaining a safe working environment, safeguarding Profit Center assets, and completing required safety and compliance training.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in customer service or inside sales; contractor sales preferred.
1+ year of leadership experience
Knowledgeable of products sold in the Profit Center and effective sales techniques.
Possess leadership qualities and be viewed as a leader.
Have experience promoting a productive and positive team environment, coaching staff to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity.
Be able to build and maintain quality relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
Possess strong personal sales skills and the ability to lead a highly effective sales team.
Be able to interpret financial report data to determine success/failure of plans and to take appropriate action to adjust business plans ensuring success.
Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, and customer contact files, and to analyze customer data.
Demonstrate outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills.
Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.
Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of performance, sales operation, and financial performance of the Inside Sales team.
Manage, recruit, hire and train a team of inside sales personnel.
Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback.
Work with PCM to establish revenue and margin targets. Establish individual sales goals and hold salespeople accountable for achieving goals.
Analyze financial reports and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase return on investment and profit sharing.
Effectively manage customer contacts and relationships to provide excellent customer service, build sales volume, and constantly increase overall customer satisfaction.
Attract and retain customers.
Build relationships in the community through local marketing efforts, hosting special events to build a repeat and new customer base, and attending industry-related vendor functions and professional events.
Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
