About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative will own the end-to-end development and delivery of capital equipment quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation. This role involves managing quotation priorities, driving timely proposal delivery, and serving as the commercial lead for assigned opportunities. Responsibilities include executing contract reviews, purchase order validation, order entry, and managing commercial clarifications and modifications. The representative will act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, drive alignment across various departments, and resolve commercial issues. Additionally, the role involves identifying and escalating risks, maintaining accurate system information, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within commercial execution processes. This position specifically supports ISE capital equipment opportunities and customer orders, partnering with regional sales teams to drive profitable revenue and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, commercial operations, proposal management, order management, customer service, or related commercial functions.
  • Experience managing quote-to-order processes within a manufacturing, industrial, energy, or capital equipment environment.
  • Experience developing customer quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation.
  • Experience utilizing ERP, CRM, or related business systems.
  • Strong ownership mentality with a focus on execution, accountability, and results.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to develop accurate and professional commercial proposals, quotations, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Understanding of pricing, margins, commercial terms, and profitability drivers.
  • Knowledge of commercial contract review, order management, and commercial governance practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end development and delivery of capital equipment quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation.
  • Manage quotation priorities and drive timely proposal delivery to meet customer deadlines and business objectives.
  • Serve as the commercial lead for assigned opportunities, ensuring customer requirements, pricing, scope, and commercial commitments are accurately defined and executed.
  • Execute contract reviews, purchase order validation, and order entry activities to ensure accurate order booking.
  • Manage commercial clarifications, change requests, and order modifications throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Lead commercial handoff activities to ensure customer requirements, scope, and commercial commitments are clearly transferred to execution teams.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers throughout the quotation and order process.
  • Drive alignment across sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and shared services to achieve customer and business objectives.
  • Resolve commercial issues, manage escalations, and proactively communicate order and proposal status to customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate commercial, contractual, compliance, and financial risks associated with quotations and customer orders.
  • Maintain accurate quote, order, pricing, and customer information within CRM, ERP, and related business systems while ensuring compliance with company policies and delegated authority requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial execution, process efficiency, and customer responsiveness.
  • Own commercial execution activities supporting ISE capital equipment opportunities and customer orders.
  • Partner with regional sales teams and product line personnel to drive profitable revenue conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to operational excellence through disciplined commercial execution, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
