About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative role focuses on providing an optimal customer experience by utilizing selling behaviors and adhering to company sales directives. This position is responsible for ensuring all transactions are complete and accurate, and that the store meets brand standards. The role involves bringing the customer experience to life, supporting brand standards compliance, and aiding in the resolution of customer service issues. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively with customers and co-workers, supports new associate onboarding and training, and advocates for diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Key operational duties include accurately recording sales and handling monetary transactions, completing daily paperwork and reporting, making bank deposits, pricing merchandise, processing back stock, assisting with shipment processing, and performing housekeeping duties. The role also requires adherence to safety and loss prevention policies, inventory control procedures, and HAZMAT regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years retail sales / customer service experience preferred
  • Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service
  • Can read and explain product labels
  • Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide an optimal customer experience utilizing selling behaviors and Company sales directives.
  • Ensure all customer transactions are complete and accurate.
  • Support brand standards compliance in maintaining a good store appearance.
  • Aid in resolving customer service issues timely and skillfully.
  • Work well with others to get the job done in support of the customer and meeting the needs of the store.
  • Collaborate with customers and co-workers.
  • Assist Store Manager with onboarding and training needs of new associates.
  • Be an advocate for diversity, inclusion and belonging.
  • Record all sales in the POS and handle all monetary transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete daily paperwork and reporting, and make bank deposits when needed.
  • Price merchandise, process back stock, assist with shipment processing and housekeeping duties.
  • Support with POGs as needed.
  • May open and close the store.
  • Ensure compliance with and knowledge of all safety and Loss Prevention policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all inventory control procedures & HAZMAT.
