About The Position

Gopher Sport is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This role is responsible for generating sales by handling inbound and outbound order, quote, and product inquiries, and closing proposals. The representative will also make outbound prospecting calls to achieve revenue targets. The position requires becoming a product expert to guide customers in finding the best products for their physical education, early childhood, fitness, or school activity programs. This role offers career progression and is a full-time, in-person position in Edina, MN.

Requirements

College degree in business administration, education, or related field from an accredited university/college, preferred; and/or relevant work experience.
A lifestyle or educational background aligned with the company’s mission statement: “To help teachers and coaches show kids how to have fun and become healthier through physical activity”.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and a Windows Operating System.

Nice To Haves

NetSuite and/or CRM experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales profit goals through successful execution of assigned sales plans and activities.
Manage repeatable sales processes and project proposals according to defined sales operating system processes.
Identify and progress opportunities by documenting sales activities in CRM and closing sales to defined standards.
Complete assigned training for process, product, and in-market presentation.
Achieve sales quality and responsiveness standards for customer interactions.
Complete assigned rocks, projects, and process optimization for operational improvement.
Make outbound prospecting calls to achieve revenue targets.
