About The Position

The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for supporting business growth by managing inbound and outbound sales activities, processing orders, providing product support, and building strong customer relationships. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers while working closely with branch operations and sales teams to deliver exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.

Requirements

Prior customer service, inside sales, sales support, or related experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Experience in building materials, manufacturing, distribution, construction products, or related industries preferred.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and build customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Provide product recommendations and support based on customer needs.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Track orders and shipments while providing timely updates to customers.
Resolve customer questions and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Support outbound sales efforts and proactively identify opportunities for business growth.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
Collaborate with branch operations and sales teams to improve customer experience and internal processes.
Maintain accurate customer and sales records within company systems.
Assist with additional administrative and sales support duties as needed.
