About The Position

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to expand their selling efforts in the fast-paced, growing oil and gas market in their Pasadena, TX office. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment and be able to quickly learn the company's rapidly growing customer base and product portfolio. This is a role for high-achieving, energetic, purpose-driven, and self-motivated individuals within a fast-moving organization.

Requirements

Strong instrumentation background required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and disciplined
Desire to learn and build personal skill-set

Nice To Haves

2+ years' experience in inbound support / sales or purchasing
Experience in the Oil and Gas or Electrical/Automation industries
Technical background with knowledge of Schneider products

Responsibilities

Completing quotations
Following up on sales leads
Finding and developing new opportunities within existing accounts
Identifying and pursuing potential customers and markets
Ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintaining records of activities using Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software
Assisting in marketing efforts
Purchasing and negotiating pricing on equipment/supplies from vendors
Supporting the sales team to procure equipment/supplies
