About The Position

Crownstone Equipment is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support in-store sales and customer engagement. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working directly with customers, providing knowledgeable product recommendations, and supporting sales efforts through clear communication and follow-through. The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering a positive customer experience while supporting overall branch sales performance. The Inside Sales Representative serves as a primary point of contact for walk-in customers and inbound sales inquiries. This role requires a strong understanding of Crownstone’s products and services, the ability to identify customer needs, and the skill to recommend appropriate solutions. Success in this role is driven by customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in agricultural or construction equipment retail preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with in-store customers and inbound leads to understand equipment, product, and service needs.
  • Recommend and sell appropriate equipment, attachments, parts, and services based on customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate product features, applications, and value to customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication, accurate order processing, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing and past customers by sharing updates on new products, services, and promotions.
  • Accurately document sales activity including calls, quotes, orders, sales, and lost business.
  • Collaborate with outside sales, service, and parts teams to support customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
