About The Position

Skyline Steel, LLC, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Inside Sales Representative. This position is an entry level position. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with a small group of customers in the region. • Managing orders throughout the entire sales cycle. Specific duties include utilizing the CRM system to support the region’s sales strategy, developing inquiries, tracking inquiries to convert inquiries into orders, sourcing material, proposing pricing, arranging transportation, organizing logistics and delivery schedules and supplying details for timely billing. • In alignment with the sales strategy, working with the Outside Sales Representatives and the Regional Manager to determine the optimum mix of sales volume, gross profit and market share in conjunction with the strategy for the region. • Handling changes from the customer and the internal/external communication required to execute and document said changes. • Assisting the Regional Manager or an Outside Sales Representative on bids, orders, and projects, as requested. • Updating the sales team on DOT bidding schedules and managing project funnel tools such as Dodge, BidX, and CMD. • Occasional travel as needed. Requirements

  • Four-year college degree, or High School Diploma and minimum 1-year experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales or similar role within the steel industry.
  • 1+ Years’ experience with MS Office, excellent computer skills.
