About The Position

Superior Glove is seeking a driven and tenacious Inside Sales Representative who combines strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to sales. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reaching decision-makers, asking effective discovery questions, overcoming objections, and maintaining consistent follow-up throughout the customer journey. This role is for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering customer needs, and turning opportunities into results. The Inside Sales Representative plays an important role in converting prospective customers into sustainable sales opportunities by managing inbound leads, supporting customers through product sample and wear trials, qualifying opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and working closely with the broader Sales team to drive growth. This role combines customer relationship management, consultative selling, prospecting, and CRM administration. The candidate will help customers identify solutions to their hand safety needs while ensuring opportunities are followed through from initial inquiry and product trial to distributor purchase and ongoing relationship development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of sales and marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed established sales and activity targets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experience using lead-generation and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong ability to navigate customer conversations, overcome objections, and confidently engage decision-makers.
  • Resilient, ambitious, collaborative, and comfortable handling rejection as part of the sales process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sales discovery best practices, sales training or certification, and platforms such as Outreach is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience managing and growing a region or defined book of business is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming sales leads, identify customer needs, and uncover opportunities to upsell or cross-sell Superior Glove products and solutions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective customers, providing responsive service and building strong relationships throughout the sales process.
  • Manage small to mid-sized sales opportunities that do not require onsite visits, moving qualified opportunities toward successful close.
  • Support end-users throughout the product sample and wear trial process, including follow-up on timelines, costs, safety requirements, purchasing processes, and customer feedback.
  • Build and maintain relationships with end-users while facilitating quotes and purchases through Superior Glove’s distributor network.
  • Conduct proactive prospecting and research using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, activity, and opportunity information within Salesforce CRM.
  • Track customer engagement, sampling activity, sales conversions, and follow-up effectiveness to identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and other internal Sales team members to ensure opportunities receive appropriate support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Present Superior Glove’s range of products and solutions while helping customers identify opportunities to improve their hand safety programs.
  • Participate in sales campaigns, special projects, regular performance meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Stay current on industry trends and product developments to serve as a knowledgeable resource for prospects and customers.
