About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative sells company products and services via telephone, internet and email. Works in conjunction with Field Sales Representatives, Product Management, and Sales Management to increase customer penetration and sales opportunities. Success is measured by meeting defined sales objectives and performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements. BRAEMAC is an electronic component distributor within the TTI Family of Specialists. This position is remote with the ideal candidate residing in the Southeast Region of the US.

Requirements

  • Degree from a four-year university with one to three years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally.
  • Reads, analyzes and interprets business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible decisions.
  • Possesses working knowledge of company policies, procedures and computer systems.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) at a basic level required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using CRM software (such as SalesForce, NetSuite, SalesLogix, etc.) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Sells products and services offered by Braemac, including product lines, quality, and value-added services, by building relationships and tailoring the sales approach to meet customer needs.
  • Provides price and delivery quotes within customer timelines to customers within assigned geographic territory by working with the branch or corporate product manager and manufacturers to get the most competitive pricing.
  • Processes customer orders by entering them into the sales database for quote processing and delivery schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely processing to avoid loss of parts and lead time issues.
  • Expands product knowledge by utilizing resources such as product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers, and other sales representatives.
  • Increases customer account base by compiling lists of prospective customer leads and making cold calls.
  • Provides management with information regarding sales, marketing techniques, new products, and market strategy by preparing forecast and activity reports on account territory.
  • Participates and attends sales calls with Field Sales Representatives to develop sales relationships and trust with the customer and Braemac.
  • Additional Duties as Assigned.
