About The Position

JVM Lending, a mortgage company in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to handle warm inbound leads from individuals interested in purchasing a home. This role does not involve cold calling, and prior mortgage experience is not required, as the company prefers to train candidates from scratch. The position is phone-heavy, requiring 2+ hours of live conversation daily across 40 to 75 calls. Successful candidates will complete a 3-month mortgage analyst training program to gain in-depth knowledge of financial documents, credit assessment, and loan eligibility, enabling them to advise clients knowledgeably rather than relying on scripts. JVM Lending covers 100% of the costs for NMLS and California DRE licensing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any major)
  • High-volume phone experience (inside sales, inbound insurance, call center, fundraising, SDR/BDR, phonathon, or alumni outreach)
  • Willingness to obtain NMLS and California DRE licenses within 90 days (company provides training and pays fees)
  • Must be located in the Walnut Creek, CA area for full-time, in-office work.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities
