About The Position

American Construction Materials (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, produces a wide array of metal building materials including trim coil, edge metal, gutter systems, and a variety of other metal accessories. ACM is proud to be an employee-first company and has won the Gallup Great Workplace Award for 20 consecutive years. ACM is seeking an experienced Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales volume and market share. In addition, you will act as a liaison between ACM and its customers, ensuring all concerns are addressed and needs are met in a timely manner. Requirements

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to multitask and analyze quickly
• Superior time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales and/or customer service, including an understanding of manufacturing and purchasing lead times, is preferred
• Ability to read prints and interpret drawings
• Previous ERP experience is preferred, specifically JDE

Responsibilities

• Recording sales orders via JDE ERP systems
• Initiating credit requests
• Managing projects as needed to improve the profitability of the company
• Maximizing on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction
• Handling calls and customer service issues
• Assisting in developing stocking programs
