About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative- Consumables (ISRC) will work as part of the Sales team. In this position, the ISRC will be responsible for growing consumable sales and building and maintaining customer relationships. The ISRC will drive revenue through lead prospecting, nurturing relationships, and closing orders primarily via phone, but also via email, or video conferences. The ISRC will be required to learn our products and understand how the customers will use our products. This position requires the ability to read instructions represented in manuals and follow these instructions. This position exists in a temperature-controlled environment. This is an onsite position that will be situated in our Madison Heights, MI office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer-facing roles

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research potential clients, build mailing lists, and follow up on marketing-generated or web-based leads.
  • Connect with prospects primarily via phone, but also via email, and video to understand their pain points, explain product features, and present solutions.
  • Quote prices, outline contract terms, overcome objections, and negotiate deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Document all sales activities, track communications, and maintain accurate forecasting in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (HubSpot).
  • Serve as the point of contact for existing clients, process renewals, cross-sell/upsell relevant products, and coordinate with technical or support teams.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and executed correctly.
  • Maintain compliance with all material documentation.
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Maintain proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s materials operations.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner.
  • Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary including weekends and holidays if deemed necessary by the company.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
